Welcome to PSR Automotive

PSR Automotive is an independent garage in Bishops Stortford specialising in maintaining and servicing Porsche and Lotus vehicles. Following customer demand we have invested heavily to extend our service to the Aston Martin owner, including the latest main dealer diagnostic technology.

We cater predominately to customers based in Hertfordshire, Essex and Cambridgeshire, but our customer base extends all over the UK and into Europe. We pride ourselves in approaching any and every job in a professional and transparent manner, and will tackle all briefs from fixing a rattle to complete bespoke engine conversions and tuning packages.

News story Whats coming for this Spring and Summer from us? (Also welcoming applicants for possible Admin Position)

There are exciting new products ahead!

Lotus Developments

With The Audi 2.0T (Toyota based) conversion for the Lotus Elise S2 progressing through hardware designs (Software development with our partners REVO is also well underway pulling on their global expertise) and developments we hope to see this car moving forward well over the coming months. Plus we have The Ford Duratec conversion for the S1 Elise coming together. Excited by the coming summer we hope to see these vehicles out soon. As per other Ford based conversions we intend to retain the regular Rover transmission with the Duratec with the intention at aiming it at customers who are not aiming for record breaking power figures, we might even find one of these in our bright green Elise S1!

Porsche Developments.

As some of our Porsche owners know we offer remapping for the Porsche line up via our software provider REVO who have now merged with STaSIS. What does this mean for Porsche owners? STaSIS develop many quality hardware components such as brakes, suspension, exhausts and engine components meaning we will hopefully see many packages filter down to use to offer our customers. So the future is bright for Porsche tuning developments at PSR Automotive with a global development network behind us with highest quality automotive performance products backed by factory-level warrantee.

Aston Martin Developments

Now much closer to home we have joined forces with Nitron Racing to develop the ultimate and only replacement shock absorber set up for the DB9. The DB9 (and all current generation Aston Martins) share a lot of chassis technology with the Lotus Elise which was pioneering in its use of aluminum extrusions and bonding adhesives (yes glue!) making very strong and light weight chassis’. When Aston developed the DB9 they built on (with Lotus) this theory to develop a light and strong chassis to leave behind critics statements on Aston Martin chassis’ being purely Jaguars underneath. This means the core of the DB9 is stiff strong and light, granted there is a lot of leather and weight added to it after but the back bone of the vehicle has great potential (we only need to look at Le Mans for this) .

Not restrained by mass production development constraints together with Nitron we hope to see a shock that offers every DB9 owner more of what they like about the car. With complete control over the shock absorber and Nitrons Research and Development facilities we are sure the vehicles character will be enhanced be that for comfort or to focus in on the chassis’ potential talents.
Why Nitron?
Thats easy, we have been installing there products since we opened to Lotus vehicles. The Product has always been first class and the support they give us and the customers is always above and beyond with worldwide success both on the road and on track. The kit is in its early days with Nitron HQ currently component testing the existing set up. But don’t panic. This kit is not going to be all about making a car that is a Grand Tourer into a track animal, it’s about developing a kit that can offer both through wide ranges of adjustment and with nothing on the market at the moment the demand is expected to be high. We are excited by the development and will try to keep facebook andwww.psrautomotive.com updated for you potential owners. We can already offer this kind of support for the Aston Martin Vantage including the N24
Images and details to follow both here and on Nitrons pages which can be found here..

We will be offering substantial supply and install discounted packages so if you or anyone you know has a DB9 in need of a refresh or wish to change the vehicles character then please let them know as promotional offers are not expected to be repeated. Please feel free to pass on your interest direct to enquiries@psrautomotive.com.

Looking for a Job?

Ok, decisions are close regarding a member of staff for the company. One of our biggest weaknesses is returning your enquiries, we know this and with all the best intentions we just don’t have enough hours in the day. So we have been welcoming applications and interviewing people with the intention of becoming reception staff which will hopefully mean that with a dedicated member of staff to chase and deal with customer enquiries and admin that customer bookings and requirements are meet more efficiently and effectively. Background with Sage systems (50) preffered but not essential.

I appreciate that many of you have had your patience pushed by waiting for allocated workshop time and general customer enquiries.
